Stop Motion

Stop Motion is probably one of my favourite forms of video/animation production. Unfortunately it is also one of the most time consuming, but in the end I think its worth it.

This morning I got a call from Caleb Tan asking if I could make the summer camp promo for Stadium Youth; Then he suggested/ mentioned that I should do a stop motion.
So after the phone call I was lying in bed thinking, as i do, and i had some great ideas. Prior to the now, I haven't really made or had the chance to make a decent stop motion with people and there is so many things you can do with people that just make it that much more fun.

Anyways, here's one that i made using a white-board (really a laminated white sheet of paper)

Personally I don't find this really that amazing, just something I did as a form of procrastination during the the time i was meant to be "studying". By the end of it i just couldn't be bothered, really requires a lot of patience to do drawing stop motions.

Looking forward to making more stop motions :)

The Notepad

Recently I invested a new accessory to carry around with me, the notepad. All the time i find myself waiting around doing nothing or wanting to write something down but with no paper around... Then BAM! Out comes the notepad!

Incase your wondering, it's one of those small 76 x 112mm notepads, so it fits in my pocket.
Right now i have gone through one and a half notepads already; Filled with memo's, drawings, funny quotes that i hear, scribbles, michael's musings, sermon notes, funny observations, etc.

So don't be surprised to know that some of my blogs you read will be from 'The Notepad'

And i thought i'd include this just for fun, click ->

Chuckling

OK... Hopefully i'll start blogging more frequently now.

chuck⋅le

    [chuhk-uhl]
verb, chuck⋅led, chuck⋅ling, noun
–verb (used without object)

1. to laugh softly or amusedly, usually with satisfaction: They chuckled at the child's efforts to walk

2. to laugh to oneself: to chuckle while reading.

3. a soft laugh, usually

Don't be surprised to see me walking around with a smile on my face, or to hear me randomly give off a sudden burst of laughter with no one around me. Most mornings i often spent about half an hour just laying in bed thinking; Its more so me thinking of funny situations or stories/ events that have happened in the past. I cant help that these random thoughts of comedy pop into my head, but i certainly do appreciate that they do.

I believe that smiling more does make you a happier person, it also can potentially make people around you happier as well. Or maybe you smile because your happy, and then the smile makes you more happy which makes you smile even more... and so the cycle goes round.

Anyways,
I'll let you reminisce on that thought for now..

I'm Michael Clark.. and this is 'Segment' :
hmm we should start doing that again, ok 'segment' coming soon.

agogo

Yes well,
These blog thingy's seem to be the latest 'hip to the groove' thing to do now a days, so i figured why not...

Anyways this is Blog 'numero uno' and I've titled it "agogo". I often find myself using this title a lot, whether it be subconscious or not is another thing.. but it always seems to pop up all over the place, when i can't think of a title for a folder I'm only temporarily using or for a project I'm working on or have recently started..
I think the title originates back from the old cartoon '
Bat Fink', in which there was a bad guy called Hugo Agogo...

Groove... OK well i will return with a more interesting(hopefully) blog later,
but for now ciao :)

More Coming Soon

I'll fix this blog up real nice
